In case you like to comment on a blog of somebody else you just post in your blog and link to the blog post on which you wanted to comment. The post will appear on your blog as well as the comment on the other blog. This is how blogging and interlinking works
Adding this to your bookmarks or onto the bookmark bar lets you easily comment on any article you are just reading, link and page name already provided … just if you are posting in Voyage .. If you then press it (the bookmarked link) you are on the edit a new post website of the blog and la voila you can post your comment on what you just read, even better when commenting on blogs.

From a german perspective of the former “Export Champion of the World” the documentation keeps a close eye on the transportation and logistics sector. “A group of people given to chronic traveling at the expense of long-term stability or a permanent residence. Tend to have doomed and extremely expensive phone-call relationship with people named Serge or IIyana. Tend to discuss frequent flyer programs at parties.” (Dougals Coupland, Generation X)
Historical Slumming:

“Quickly, what makes Vancouver, Vancouver? Here’s a crash course outline (in no particular order): Bridge traffic; mountains; tall trees; outdoor sports; the bodies to match those sports; outdoor clothing to cover those bodies; nude sunbathing; pot; sushi; dim sum; Chinatown; Sikh temples; multiethnic couples; First Nations culture; wildlife (especially whales); hostility toward smokers; ferries; a really good airport; cruise ships in summer; the film industry; green politics; empty glass towers; rhododendrons; Japanese maples; hydroponic agriculture; appalling real estate prices; interesting architecture from 1946 to 1970; vague earthquake jitters; a sense of disconnection from the rest of Canada; the US is close (but somehow far away, too); people from elsewhere who want to vanish; people from elsewhere who want the city to fix them; harbours; inlets and bridges; log booms, wheat pools and rail cars … Some of those items are cliché yet they remain integral to the city’s character. Many of these traits are also shared by other cities, but with Vancouver it’s the amount and combination that make the place what it is.” in (The Vancouver Stories. West Coast Fiction from Canada’s Best Writers)
Great book by Jon Krakauer – Just found out there is a movie which I have to see as soon as I can — Next screening will be on the 19. October here in in Vancouver. So reserve me a seat, I am in. Review of the movie follows.
The title of this blog is one first of all a dedication to restless travel and the urge to continue and explore the world. On the other hand this title is also a homage to Louis Ferdinand Celine’s book “Voyage au bout de la nuit” or the English title “Journey to the end of the night”. Despite lacking political correctness on many occasions I consider it as a great piece of work. Celine however has come under heavy criticism in his life for sympathizing the Nazi regime and being antisemitic. The book was a piece of inspiration for the a likes of Charles Bukowski, Kurt Vonnegut and many more. I can only recommend a read, especially when traveling in hot regions around the equator.

As I just read in Wired Apple is finally releasing its Leopard Operating System on the 26 October 2007. Great I have been waiting for that release quite a while. I am keen to check out the multiple desktop on Leopard and reinstall my system as I have been installing applications on it for the last 15 month so a fresh system will clean up things a little. Hope that I get get hold of the system when I pass through the US next time.
