What a shame. After staying in Vancouver for nearly 3 month, I found out today that with the help of the 5-digit number code, which can be found on any Translink bus station the current timetable for that station can be queried.
Just send a SMS from your mobile to: 33333 and put the corresponding number in the message body: like 53318; then you will receive the current shedule for the next 6 busses on your phone!

For me after 3 month Vancouver it was kind of a dissapointment that I didn’t come across that service earlier as I am an avid user of mobile phones and technology in general. I guess I should have looked at the: TransLinked Webpage.
I tried now for sometime to install a somehow workable and well usable plugin in order to display the books I am currently reading. But I have to state that really none of the currently available plugins really suits me or is usable.
I tried the following plugins:
Booklist: Gets all the information from shelfari, a library website and then displays the information on the sidebar. Also here problems with the integration.
Amazon Machine Tags: No display of the Content on the Mail site. Also Problems when integrating into K2 Theme. Also the displaying options are not too powerful.
Amazon Smartlinks: Nice but much too powerful and too close connected to the Amazon Website, I also found that the plugin doesn’t integrate nicely into the K2 Theme. More useful for a webpage which actually sells books not just reviews and lists them.
Amazon Showcase: This is what I decided to install and test for a while now. I already do not like it so much as it doesn’t display any further information besides the book. Also there is no history included.
In general I am looking for a widget which seamlessly integrates into the sidebar and displays a selection of current future and past books I read. I will just work with the showcase plugin for some time until there will be a new plugin or version available.
