Business Travels to use online sources

Bevore emarking on a business trip the business traveller should query the internet and find out as much as possible about his destination. This enables him to profit as much as possible from the trip and make it much more joyful then just another hotel-airport trip.

Different sources are available. The sites of local newspapers and international ones can already give a first impression and idea of the local events. This can also help when speaking to potential customers. It makes a good impression to be informed about the place where the partner is conducting his business.

Also blogs become more and more a destination for business travellers was stated by the New York Times in their Travel section. This doesn’t really surprise me, as in recent years travel planning and booking can be arranged totally o via the internet. Airlines begin to host blogs (e.g. Delta Airlines Blog) and travellers exchnage the latest information via sites like Boarding Area.
Much more of this can be found via some pages which haven’t been mentioned in the article.

Flushing, Queens: New Yorks “real” China – Asia town

As I recently discussed with a friend .. New Yorks real China town is to be found in Flushing .. Yes the way which you take to reach Flushing Meadows and the nice Stadius around the Louis Armstrong Stadium which is well known as the site of the yearly US Open tournament.

So I was astonished when I stumbeled across this article in the New York Times featuring Flushing and Korean Town. Inspaworld makes a fantastic impression and I will cerainly not miss it when I am travelling to NYC the next time. The hefty entrance will certainly not look too bad considering the still favorable Euro/$ rate at the time. Looking forward for the next NYC trip, if only I had some good ideas about a place to stay …. Something freaky not too boring.

Further reviews in the NYC section.
